Every couple wants their big day to be amazing, but does yours have what it takes to win the title of Your Herts & Beds Wedding’s Wedding of the Year? Starting now, and over the course of the year, we’ll be searching for a local wedding taking place in 2009 that has that extra-special something, whether that’s a creative theme, an unusual location, show-stopping outfits or fantastic story behind it all.

Each issue of the magazine we’ll print a selection of the best weddings so far, and readers can vote online for their favourite. The issue’s winner will be featured in the next edition and will go through to our Wedding of the Year final to be held in spring next year.

The Prize

The lucky overall winners will not only be crowned with the Wedding of the Year 2009 title, they’ll also win a romantic night away for two at Theobalds Park in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, worth £300. The prize includes an overnight stay in one of the hotel’s luxurious rooms with dinner and breakfast.
